We are now looking for a QA Manager to join our team in Camarillo, California. 

ABOUT THE POSITION 

This is a full-time position based in Camarillo, California, USA.

As a QA Manager you will assume responsibility for manual and automated testing of Net Insight media network virtualization products (formerly known under the Aperi name: www.apericorp.com).

This is a hands-on leadership position. In addition to individual testing responsibilities, you will be expected to champion QA best practices in the organization, as well as build and lead a QA team.

You will collaborate with our engineering and support teams to ensure high quality of our products and customer satisfaction.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Develop test strategy and test plans
  • Develop, document and maintain test suites and test cases
  • Ensure full test coverage and feature traceability
  • Create and execute automated tests using product APIs and scripting
  • Execute manual tests and identify software problems
  • Create bug reports and verify bug fixes
  • Document test results and create product quality metrics reports
  • Recommend improvements to enhance customer experience
  • Work closely with the support team and our customers to collect customer feedback and address any quality problems reported by customers

YOUR BACKGROUND 

  • A BS degree in EE/CS or related field or equivalent job experience
  • 5 years of experience in software development and QA
  • 2 years of experience building and leading QA or engineering teams
  • Extensive experience in test automation for REST API based products and services
  • High proficiency in modern software development languages, such as C/C++, Python
  • Extensive knowledge of Linux and IP based networks
  • Experience troubleshooting complex systems and root cause analysis
  • Familiarity with agile/scrum methodology
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Experience with Cloud, Media, TV, or Broadcast industry is considered an advantage
