THE TEAM 

Net Insight’s new business area, 5G Synchronization is expanding and we are looking for a senior C++ developer to join our R&D team.

Together with people excited about innovative technology projects and driving customer success, you will help deploy our unique solution for transporting time with extremely high precision over IP infrastructure.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a member of the sync application team, you will drive the development of the distributed control system which ensures that every node in a nation state sized network has the same time with sub-microsecond precision. This includes working with the control algorithms, network routing, error recovery, and compatibility with established technologies. You will collaborate with developers ranging from electronics and low-level embedded software to web-based management systems and UI.

Need to have:

• Experience with design of networking protocols
• Working knowledge of modern C++
• Experience and interest in test automation
  

It´s a bonus if you have knowledge or interest in:

• Graph theory
• Statistics
• Design of control systems, e.g., PID controllers and Kalman filters
• Experience with PTP (Precision Time Protocol)
