Financial Controller

About your role
As our Financial Controller, you will play a central role in analysing revenues and costs, managing month- and quarter-end financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making through ad hoc analysis. You'll be deeply involved in consolidation activities, system administration, IFRS reporting, and continuous process improvements. This is a position with diverse responsibilities and significant impact across the Finance department and the rest of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse revenues and costs to detect deviations and report insights to department managers, with a key focus on revenue and gross margin.
- Initiate and conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support management decisions.
- Consolidate monthly and quarterly financials using Aaro, including entities operating in multiple foreign currencies.
- Maintain and update internal and external financial reports in compliance with IFRS.
- Prepare financial schedules and statements for quarterly and annual reports, including ESEF tagging.
- Serve as system administrator and/or superuser in financial systems, ensuring data accuracy and tool efficiency.
- Lead or support ongoing improvements in financial processes and routines.
- Perform other accounting and reporting tasks as assigned.

Your Profile
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of experience in financial controlling, accounting, reporting, or financial analysis.
- Proven track record in month- and quarter-end closings, revenue/cost analysis, and consolidation processes, preferably within a listed company and across multiple currencies.
- Familiarity with IFRS reporting, ESEF, and annual report preparation is a strong plus.
- Hands-on experience with financial systems—preferably Aaro or similar consolidation/reporting tools.
- Comfortable acting as a superuser or system administrator in finance-related tools.
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with strong investigative skills and a structured approach to reporting and financial processes. You have advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling, along with excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English. A process-oriented mindset and a passion for continuous improvement are essential.
You are proactive, self-driven, and take initiative to see tasks through independently. Flexibility and a willingness to support various functions within finance and accounting are key to succeeding in this role.
