About your role
You will be working in the team responsible for the core synchronization functionality, with control algorithms and processing of data from time links, combined with an overall logic for handling different modes of operation.
The majority of the coding is done in modern C++ (20, 23) and you will be working with control and signal processing related methods, such as Kalman filters, Model Predictive Control, Event handling, and Mathematical Optimization.
The work involves algorithmic formulations, combined with software design and implementation in our product, mostly in C++ in TimeNodes, but also in other languages, such as Python, inside the Zyntai Director, which is a Kubernetes-based orchestration system for our TimeNodes.
You will collaborate with developers ranging from electronics and low-level embedded software to web-based management systems and UI.
Good to knows:
- We value work-life balance and have a hybrid work set-up (50/50)
- Full-time, permanent position
- Located in our HQ in Solna, Stockholm
- Our corporate language is English
The product
On a high level, our 5G time synchronization solution (Zyntai) enables faster and more secure 5G rollouts. This by providing 5G basestations with very accurate time - independent from GNSS.
A Zyntai Time Network consists of hundreds or even thousands of TimeNodes, sending time to each other in a hierarchical multi-link setup. Every TimeNode is gathering information from its neighbouring nodes (several thousands measurements per second and neighbour).
This information is used to understand
the characteristics of the network, and to control the clock
(oscillator) on the node using a control algorithm.
Your Profile
Skills and experience:
- Solid experience of modern C++ in a Linux environment
- Experience in analysis, design, and implementation of algorithms in a product development setting, in areas such as automatic control, signal processing, or numerical optimization, for example:
- Kalman filters
- Model Predictive Control
- Modelling and simulation
- Optimization
- Networks (protocols, socket programming etc)
- Usage and development of tests and verification, in unit testing as well as on system level
