Senior Purchaser (Stockholm, hybrid)

Are you ready to play a key role in shaping and developing the procurement processes at Net Insight? As a Senior Purchaser, you will be a key part of our procurement team, combining your expertise in sourcing, purchasing and supplier management with a hands-on approach.
Our team today is small and focused on continuously improving the organization and its processes. This versatile role offers the opportunity to engage in a wide range of Procurement activities, where you'll balance strategic, tactical, and operational responsibilities.
In your project Purchaser role, you will focus on sourcing related tasks for new product development projects. In your category Purchaser role, you will manage purchasing volume products and components for specific product categories, ensuring availability in our finished goods warehouse. You will work closely with the Purchasing Manager, while reporting to the Head of Logistics & Procurement.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project management, R&D and supply in product development projects.
- Source components and negotiate competitive prices to control total product costs.
- Evaluate quotes, select suppliers, and negotiate contracts with project teams and stakeholders.
- Place and follow-up on orders and deliveries with suppliers to meet project timelines.
- Collaborate closely with contract manufacturing partners (EMS) to ensure all components and materials are sourced for prototype builds and production ramp up.
- Procure specific product categories and manage inventory levels to ensure availability in the finished goods warehouse based on customer demand.
- Analyse bills of materials (BOMs) in terms of costs, lead times and risks to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure optimal supplier choices.
- Develop procurement processes to support Net Insight’s growth and innovation goals.

Skills and experience
- Bachelors degree in relevant field or other relevant higher education.
- 5+ years of experience in a Procurement, Sourcing, or Purchasing organisation, with a proven track record in tactical (e.g., supplier negotiations, contracting) and operational (e.g., placing purchase orders) processes.
- Experience in purchasing electronic components and strong commercial competence in the electronic components market.
- Experience in purchasing for product development projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record in driving cost optimizations and achieving measurable savings.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of working with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite or similar).
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Swedish is also preferred.
Bonus skills
- Experience working with contract manufacturers (EMS).
- Experience in purchasing mechanical components and commercial competence in the mechanical components market.
- A technical background with an understanding of electronics and/or mechanical components.
- Experience working with Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
